De conformidad con los artículos 23 y 149 literal b) de la Ley 1448 de 2011, el Registro Único de Víctimas deberá contribuir al derecho a la verdad recopilando e incorporando las circunstancias de tiempo, modo y lugar que originaron los hechos victimizantes que narren las víctimas en sus declaraciones, las cuales en todo caso serán tratadas con la reserva de la que goza dicha información. -Toda la información suministrada por las víctimas servirá de insumo para contribuir a la verdad, el esclarecimiento de los hechos y las garantías de no repetición.
