INVESTIGACIÓN ADMINISTRATIVA POR MUERTE. La investigación administrativa a que se refiere el artículo 168 del Decreto 2062 de 1984, se adelantará mediante informativo levantado en la unidad o repartición en que tuvieron ocurrencia los hechos que la motivaron, el cual debe incorporarse al expediente de prestaciones sociales.

Parágrafo

En todos los casos de muerte de un Oficial o Suboficial el Comandante o Jefe del fallecido debe ordenar la investigación administrativa para determinar con la máxima exactitud posible las circunstancias en que se produjo el deceso y emitir concepto sobre si el hecho ocurrió en una de las siguientes situaciones

Muerte simplemente en actividad;

Muerte en actos del servicio;

Muerte en actos meritorios del servicio;

Muerte por violación de reglamentos.
