La prueba que resulta del cotejo es completa siempre que el perito o los peritos afirmen categóricamente; en caso contrario, es una prueba de indicio más o menos grave, según los fundamentos del dictamen pericial, la reputación de la persona cuya firma o letra sea negada, la magnitud de la naturaleza de la obligación y otras circunstancias semejantes.
