El Gobernador y el Alcalde Municipal podrán convocar a las Asambleas y a los Concejos Municipales, respectivamente, a sesiones extraordinarias y, en tal evento, dichas corporaciones se ocuparan preferencialmente de los asuntos que el Gobierno someta a su consideración.
