Art. 12. El Poder Ejecutivo observando las dis- posiciones constitucionales i legales podrá llenar los cuadros de disponibilidad de jenerales, coroneles i tenientes coroneles, i las demas vacantes de jefes i oficiales que ocurran en el ejército, ya sea por muer- te, renuncia, destitucion, ascenso, licencia absoluta o retiro, sin sujetarse a las reglas prescritas en el número 2. del artículo 6. de la lei 3., parte 1., tratado 6. de la Recopilacion Granadina, ni a lo dispuesto en los artículos 11 i 13 de la lei de 18 de mayo de 1850, cuyos artículos quedan deroga- dos.
