Cuando la muerte de una res ocurriere de modo fortuito, sin que se pueda dar oportuno aviso al Agente por causa de la distancia ó por otra cansa justificable, que el interesado debe comprobar, no se considerará, si la beneficia, que se ha incurrido en fraude sino cuando el interesado dejare transcurrir más de ocho días sin dar el aviso y pagar los derechos al Agente. Si comprobare á satisfacción que no la benefició, no está obligado á pagar el impuesto.
