A las Divisiones de Inspección para Instituciones Financieras y para Seguros y Capitalización, les corresponde a través de sus secciones las siguientes funciones

a)

Proyectar y ejecutar el plan anual de visitas de inspección en coordinación con las dependencias correspondientes;

b)

Solicitar a la Sección Central de Riesgos de la Dirección General de Informática y Estadística el flujo de información sobre deudores de la institución que se vaya a inspeccionar y la información que pueda tener sobre concentración de crédito y propiedad accionaria;

c)

Planificar las visitas individuales de inspección, teniendo en cuenta las recomendaciones y prioridades establecidas;

d)

Supervisar las visitas de inspección y asesorar al Jefe de Visita y a su equipo durante el desarrollo de las mismas; y,

e)

Revisar los informes rendidos por las comisiones de visita.
