ARTICULO 1.1.1.1.5 . - SECCIONES . Los establecimientos bancarios podrán establecer y mantener las siguientes secciones, previa autorización del Superintendente Bancario, con los derechos y facultades concedidos en el presente estatuto

a)

Sección Bancaria para la ejecución de negocios bancarios y comerciales.

b)

Sección de Ahorros para recibir, reconociendo intereses, depósitos a la vista o a término, con sujeción a lo previsto en este Estatuto, en el Código de Comercio y en las reglamentaciones que con carácter general dicte el Gobierno Nacional.

Parágrafo

- La sección comercial de un banco hipotecario es aquella que hace el negocio de recibir fondos de otros en depósito general y de usar éstos junto con su propio capital, para prestarlos y para comprar o descontar pagarés, giros o letras de cambio.
