Los concesionarios deberán elevar hasta el valor correspondiente a veinte (20) veces el salario mínimo mensual vigente, la cuantía de la caución, cuando el producto anual de la explotación lo haga necesario a juicio del Ministerio de Minas y Energía, para garantizar el cumplimiento de las obligaciones provenientes de los respectivos contratos.
