Las ligas o asociaciones de carácter nacional debidamente reconocidas por el Ministerio de Comunicaciones, elegirán de común acuerdo los dos miembros del Consejo Asesor de Radioaficionado, de que trata el artículo 18 de la Ley 94 del 14 de diciembre de 1993, para que las representen ante ese organismo.
