La Junta Nacional del Fondo de Caminos Vecinales, de acuerdo con el Ministerio de Obras Públicas, podrá adscribir las funciones de las oficinas seccionales del Fondo a las regionales del Ministerio, cuando la economía de gastos de administración lo aconseje y los reducidos volúmenes de trabajo lo justifiquen. Los aportes de la nación al Fondo de Caminos Vecinales se harán por intermedio del Fondo Vial nacional.
