El Subjefe del Resguardo estará á las inmediatas órdenes del Jefe y desempeñará las comisiones que se le encomienden. Uno de Cabos será destinado exclusivamente á custodiar los bosques que, de acuerdo con el contrato de arrendamiento de las Salinas de Chita y Muneque, pasan á poder del Gobierno.
