El control fiscal de las asociaciones formadas por municipios de un mismo departamento corresponderá a la Contraloría Departamental, a menos que la asociación organice su propia contraloría. Si los municipios pertenecen a varios departamentos, la Asamblea General de la Asociación establecerá su propio sistema de control fiscal.
