La póliza puede ser nominativa o a la orden. La cesión de la póliza nominativa en ningún caso produce efectos contra el asegurador sin su aquiescencia previa. La cesión de la póliza a la orden puede hacerse por simple endoso. El asegurador podrá oponer al cesionario o endosatario las excepciones que tenga contra el tomador, asegurado o beneficiario.
