Al contestar la demanda, el demandado podrá proponer la reconvención, siempre que el juez sea competente para conocer de esta o sea admisible la prórroga de competencia. En caso de alterarse la competencia deberá remitir el proceso al juez competente, quien continuará el trámite a partir del estudio de admisibilidad de la demanda de reconvención.
