Capacitación. La capacitación del personal docente de la Policía Nacional se concibe como un estímulo para incrementar la calidad del mismo y proyectar las labores docentes como investigación y extensión que correspondan a los planes de desarrollo institucional o la formación integral de los alumnos. El Director de la Escuela Nacional de Policía "General Santander", fijará los criterios para la selección del personal docente policial que sea merecedor de tal incentivo.
