ARTICULO 3.1.2.0.3 .- OFICINAS DE REPRESENTACIÓN DE REASEGURADORES DEL EXTERIOR. La Superintendencia Bancaria está facultada para autorizar el establecimiento en Colombia de oficinas de representación de reaseguradores extranjeros. Dichas oficinas exclusivamente podrán operar en la aceptación o cesión de responsabilidades en reaseguro; por tanto, no actuarán, directa o indirectamente, en la contratación de seguros. La Superintendencia Bancaria ejercerá sobre ellas inspección y vigilancia con las mismas facultades con que cuenta para supervisar las entidades del sector asegurador y dictará las reglas a las cuales deben someterse las oficinas de representación y sus administradores.
