ASCENSO A BRIGADIER GENERAL. Para ascender al Grado de Brigadier General, el Gobierno escogerá libremente entre los Coroneles que hayan cumplido las condiciones generales y especiales que este estatuto determina, que posean título de Oficial diplomado en Academia Superior de Policía y hayan realizado el Curso Integral de Defensa Nacional (CIDENAL) en la Escuela Superior de Guerra de Colombia.
