° Las investigaciones por contaminación del medio fluvial y por violación de las normas que regulan las actividades marítimas en las áreas fluviales de jurisdicción de la Dirección General Marítima y Portuaria serán adelantadas y falladas por ésta, conforme a los procedimientos señalados en el Decreto-ley 2324 de 1984.
