Para los efectos del ejercicio de las funciones de inspección, vigilancia y control, el Superintendente Nacional y los Superintendentes Delegados del Nivel Nacional y Seccional, están investidos del carácter de Jefes de Policía, de conformidad con el artículo 35 del Decreto número 1355 de 1970 y las demás normas que lo modifiquen o adicionen.
