Los Grumetes Distinguidos y Soldados de Infantería de Marina que hayan ingresado al servicio activo en la calidad de conscriptos o voluntarios para la Escuela de Grumetes, Infantería de Marina y Escuela de Clases y Marinería, y que califiquen como sobresalientes durante el año de servicio, serán licenciados, previamente ascendidos a os grado superiores de Marinero Segundo y Cabo Segundo de Infantería de Marina.
