º . Objetivo. El objetivo del presente decreto es reglamentar el uso racional y eficiente de la energía, de tal manera que se tenga la mayor eficiencia energética para asegurar el abastecimiento energético pleno y oportuno, la competitividad del mercado energético colombiano, la protección al consumidor y la promoción de fuentes no convencionales de energía, dentro del marco del desarrollo sostenible y respetando la normatividad vigente sobre medio ambiente y los recursos naturales renovables.
