Art. 1.° Organizase una compañía suelta de sesenta i cuatro hombres destinados a dar seguridad a los transeuntes en las vias del Carare i de Barrancabermeja, en territorio del Estado soberano de Santander, contra los ataques de los salvajes que vagan en las selvas del Opon. Esta compañía tendrá: Un Capitan; Un Teniente; Un Subteniente; 1 Sarjento 1.°; 3 Sarjentos segundos; 2 Cornetas; 4 Cabos primeros; 4 Cabos segundos; i 50 Soldados. 64 Total.
