El Ministerio de Comunicaciones podrá permitir a los operadores seguir utilizando números de abonado de 5 y 6 cifras hasta el 31 de diciembre de 1999. A partir de esta fecha se deberá operar con la longitud de número de abonado de siete (7) cifras.
