El gobierno procederá, a la mayor brevedad, a trasladar la actual población de Ríosucio, cabecera del Municipio chocoano del mismo nombre, al lugar más adecuado para defender el poblado de las avenidas periódicas del rio Atrato. A este efecto, el Presupuesto para la vigencia económica de 1938, el Gobierno incluirá en él la partida correspondiente; pero si no lo hiciere, la partida que se apropiará indefectiblemente no será menor de cincuenta mil pesos ($ 50.000).
