Además de los principios que orientan la gestión administrativa establecidos en la Constitución Política, y en la ley, el Sistema Nacional de Reincorporación se rige por los principios establecidos en el Acuerdo Final de Paz, especialmente por los de igualdad, no discriminación, integración territorial, y profundización, así como por los principios rectores que orientan la Política para la Reincorporación Social y Económica de Exintegrantes de las FARC-EP, contenidos en el Documento Conpes 3931 de 2018.
