ARTICULO 4.2.0.6.4 .- LIMITACIONES DEL FONDO . El Fondo de Garantías de Instituciones Financieras tendrá las siguientes limitaciones

a)

No podrá otorgar préstamos a personas naturales o jurídicas distintas de las instituciones financieras inscritas, salvo lo previsto en la letra d) del artículo 4.2.0.4.1 del presente estatuto, cuando se trate de complementar el sistema de seguro de depósito;

b)

No podrá recibir depósitos a la vista, a término, de ahorro o abrir cartas de crédito, y

c)

Sólo podrá conceder préstamos a las instituciones financieras inscritas, en desarrollo de programas específicos concertados con las entidades beneficiarias, orientados a mejorar o restablecer la solidez patrimonial de aquéllas, cuando las circunstancias lo aconsejen a juicio de la junta directiva.
