El artículo 159 de la Constitución quedará así:

ARTÍCULO 159

No podrán suprimirse ni disminuirse los sueldos de los Magistrados y Jueces, de manera que la supresión o disminución perjudique a los que están ejerciendo dichos cargos. Los cargos de la rama jurisdiccional no son acumulables y son incompatibles con el ejercicio de cualquier otro cargo retribuido, y con toda participación en el ejercicio de la abogacía. Solamente se exceptúan de esta disposición los cargos docentes.
