En firme la ratificación de la reforma estatutaria que modifica el carácter académico de una Institución, esta podrá adelantar los trámites ante el Icfes para el registro de los programas que por dicha modificación correspondan al nuevo carácter académico y sólo podrá promocionarlos y abrirlos una vez cumplido este requisito. Si los programas además requieren acreditación obligatoria, esta igualmente deberá surtirse una vez en firme la ratificación de dicha reforma estatutaria.
