ARTICULO 98 . FUNCIONES DEL CONSEJO DE SEGURIDAD AERONAUTICA.- Son funciones del Consejo de Seguridad Aeronáutica

Estudiar y proponer al Director General de Aeronáutica Civil las medidas necesarias para mantener y mejorar la seguridad aérea.

Conceptuar sobre las normas y procedimientos que en materia de seguridad aérea le sean sometidas a su estudio.

Estudiar los informes de accidentes aéreos y recomendar las medidas preventivas para disminuir los riesgos.

Darse su propio reglamento.

Las demás que le sean encomendadas y correspondan a su naturaleza.
