Los libros y papeles de comercio constituirán plena prueba en las cuestiones mercantiles que los comerciantes debatan entre sí, judicial o extrajudicialmente.

En materia civil, aún entre comerciantes, dichos libros y papeles sólo tendrán valor contra su propietario, en lo que en ellos conste de manera clara y completa y siempre que su contraparte no lo rechace en lo que le sea desfavorable.
