Son funciones de los Comités de Disciplina Regionales, Zonales y de la Administración Central

Velar porque las investigaciones disciplinarias se desarrollen de acuerdo con el régimen disciplinario establecido en el presente Decreto;

Estudiar y evaluar las investigaciones disciplinarias y emitir concepto ante el competente, cuando se trate de investigaciones en las cuales el investigador haya recomendado sanción de multa y suspensión;

Recomendar sobre la ampliación de la investigación o la nulidad de lo actuado según el caso.
