º . Campo de aplicación. El Sistema General de Riesgos Profesionales, con las excepciones previstas en el artículo 279 de la ley 100 de 1993, se aplica a todas las empresas que funcionen en el territorio nacional, y a los trabajadores, contratistas, subcontratistas, de los sectores público, oficial, semioficial, en todos sus órdenes, y del sector privado en general.
