Art. 14. Continuará suspendida la adjudicación y venta de tierras baldías en el Departamento de Panamá, hasta tanto se adjudique a la Compañía del Canal Interoceánico la cantidad de hectáreas a que tenga derecho, de acuerdo con el contrato celebrado con la República ( Ley 46 de 1878 ).

Una vez adjudicadas a la citada Compañía las tierras en referencia, la ley determinará la manera como debe disponerse de los terrenos baldíos situados en aquel Departamento.
