de la Ley 32 de 1943 quedara así:

"En la ciudad de Popayán se erigirá una estatua en bronce del caudillo, en el sitio que designe una junta nombrada por el señor Gobernador del Cauca, señor Rector de la Universidad, señor Alcalde Municipal de Popayán y señor Presidente de la Academia de Historia de la misma ciudad, y la que se encargara de llevar cabo la erección del monumento. En el pedestal de la estatua se grabara esta inscripción:

"El Congreso de Colombia a Julio Arboleda Ley 32 de 1943 - Ley... de...".
