Artículo séptimo. El capital pagado y fondo de reserva legal de una corporación financiera no serán menores del diez por ciento (10%) del total de su pasivo para con terceros. Si el conjunto del capital y fondo de reserva legal bajaren del límite indicado, no podrá la corporación contraer nuevas obligaciones, y deberá reducir sus pasivos hasta la concurrencia del exceso, o aumentar su capital o su reserva en la cantidad necesaria para cubrirlo.
