Corresponde al Invima ejercer las funciones de inspección, vigilancia y control, en coordinación con las entidades territoriales de salud, y en desarrollo del Modelo de Inspección, Vigilancia y Control sanitario, definido por el Ministerio de Salud y Protección Social mediante la Resolución 1229 de 2013 o la norma que la modifique o sustituya.
