La Nación rinde homenaje al municipio de Andalucía en el departamento del Valle, con motivo de conmemorarse los 121 años de haber sido creado jurídicamente como Entidad Territorial del departamento del Valle de Cauca. Por tal fin exalta y reconoce las virtudes de sus habitantes y a quienes han contribuido al desarrollo de sus valores históricos, culturales y ecológicos.
