La terminación o suspensión de las actividades como residente dependerán de las condiciones académicas del estudiante en formación, y no se entenderá suspendido ni terminado el contrato de práctica formativa para residencia médica cuando por consideraciones académicas o del plan de prácticas, el residente deba hacer rotaciones en diferentes centros de práctica.
