Del Registro Público harán parte las inscripciones vigentes, las cuales serán actualizadas cuando hubiere lugar a ello y las no vigentes por retiro de los empleados de la carrera. El registro deberá contener además, las anotaciones a que hubiere lugar cuando un empleado se encuentre desempeñando un empleo de libre nombramiento y remoción o de período fijo, para el cual haya sido previamente comisionado, o cuando haya optado por la reincorporación en caso de supresión del empleo. Estas anotaciones se mantendrán hasta que se reporten las situaciones administrativas que permitan la actualización del registro o su cancelación definitiva.
