Clases de providencias . Las providencias del juez pueden ser autos o sentencias. Son sentencias las que deciden sobre las pretensiones de la demanda o las excepciones que no tengan el carácter de previas, cualquiera que fuere la instancia en que se pronuncien, y las que resuelven los recursos de casación y revisión. Son autos todas las demás providencias, de trámite o interlocutorias.
