Acciones a tomar en caso de accidente o emergencia. El generador o la persona prestadora de servicios públicos especiales de aseo debe poseer un plan de contingencia, acorde con el Plan Nacional de Contingencia, el cual se debe ejecutar ante un evento de emergencia en cualquiera de las actividades de gestión integral de residuos hospitalarios y similares peligrosos. Las acciones de contingencia deben coordinarse con el Comité local de emergencia de la Oficina Nacional de Prevención y Atención de Desastres.
