Dentro de los cinco (5) días siguientes a aquel en que haya necesidad de proveer un cargo de notario en propiedad, el Gobierno nacional, el Gobernador, Intendente o Comisario, según el caso avisará la ocurrencia de la vacante al Consejo Superior de la Administración de Justicia para que este convoque el respectivo concurso. Si la autoridad de aquí prevista no diere el aviso, lo hará la superintendencia de notariado y registro.
