TEXTO CORRESPONDIENTE A

LEGISLACIÓN ANTERIOR

Artículo 2.4.1.1.7.9. Autorizaciones Especiales. El cargo de Capitán en buques de navegación regional de 2.600 o más T.A.B., serán desempeñados por Capitanes u Oficiales de Altura de Primera Clase. En igual forma, los cargos de Maquinista Jefe y Maquinista de Primera Clase, en buques de navegación regional con potencia propulsora continua mayor de 1.200 K.W., podrán desempeñarse por Maquinista Jefes o de Primera Clase, de Altura.

Estos Oficiales de Primera Clase, deben obtener previamente la correspondiente AUTORIZACIÓN ESPECIAL de la Autoridad Marítima, para lo cual deberán acreditar debidamente haberse desempeñado como tales, un mínimo de dos (2) años, a bordo de buque de navegación oceánica.
