La Comisión Pedagógica Nacional de Comunidades Negras tiene entre sus funciones la de asesorar la elaboración, formulación y ejecución de políticas de etnoeducación y la construcción de los currículos correspondientes para la prestación del servicio educativo, acorde con las necesidades, intereses o expectativas de las comunidades negras.
