El Subcomité de Protección a Víctimas y Testigos, en el marco de la Ley 975 de 2005, estará adscrito al Comité Interinstitucional de Justicia y Paz y será conformado por un delegado permanente de la Fiscalía General de la Nación, Policía Nacional, Ministerio del Interior y de Justicia, Departamento Administrativo de Seguridad, Procuraduría General de la Nación, Defensoría del Pueblo, Departamento Nacional de Planeación y del Programa Presidencial de Derechos Humanos.
