La definición de vivienda de interés social contenida en la Ley 9º de 1989 continuará vigente hasta que se expida el próximo Plan Nacional de Desarrollo. En particular esta transición se aplicará a la calificación de programas para efectos de financiación o subsidios de vivienda y los procesos de pertenencia y demás mecanismos para su legalización o regularización urbanística.
