Son atribuciones de los Auditores Seccionales:

Examinar e inspeccionar las oficinas de toda persona encargada del manejo de caudales o bienes del Gobierno Nacional en la zona que les corresponda; transmitir las órdenes y disposiciones del Contralor a dicha persona; dar instrucciones con respecto a la manera de formular las cuentas e informes; recibir y revisar las cuentas, y dar aviso al Contralor de cualquier fraude que observen en la recaudación de contribuciones o derechos.
