Obligación de la vacunación para animales. Los propietarios o responsables de animales susceptibles de transmitir zoonosis inmunoprevenibles, deberán someterlos a las vacunaciones que exijan las autoridades sanitarias y exhibir los correspondientes certificados vigentes de vacunación cuando se les solicite. En caso contrario, dichos animales podrán ser considerados como sospechosos de estar afectados de este tipo de zoonosis. (Artículo 55 del Decreto 2257 de 1986)
