En cada municipio y distrito especial del país, funcionará un Comité de Orden Público integrado, de acuerdo a la existencia de los organismos en el respectivo municipio, por el Comandante de la respectiva Guarnición Militar o su delegado, el Comandante de la Policía, el Jefe de Puesto Operativo del DAS o un delegado del Director Seccional y el Alcalde Municipal o como su delegado el Secretario de Gobierno o quien haga sus veces, quien lo presidirá.
